Shooting Barebow at 20 yards on a 60cm face. Michela preferred shooting right-handed originally and didn’t do too badly. She felt at the time reasonably comfortable doing it that way but her left eye wanted to “take over”. The change would seem to have beneficial results, certainly looking at the Spoon Shoot results below!
This was a first time ever for him shooting a bow. He had a quite intensive session and, as you can see, he took to it like a “duck to water”. Shooting from a good distance back, all aspects of his style were good and the results are as you can see. We started off, as usual, with barebow and then put a sight on, which was when this happened!
You’ll see the results of our Annual Double American Competition attached at the end of this newsletter. This is one of our most arduous shoots in that, as an American Round is 30 arrows each at 60, 50 and 40 yards, a double round has 180 arrows, plus 6 sighters. As can be seen from the picture of Ken , one must take every opportunity to replenish this energy from somewhere!
