Anyone got a torch?

4 of our archers entered a STARLIGHT shoot in Hertfordshire… where archers shoot 5 dozen arrows at targets 60 yards away.. IN THE DARK albeit for a spotlight. NOT an easy task.
However, Raven-Corey Knight managed a GOLD medal, Mark and Heather Turner both earned themselves a SILVER medal each, and Chris Lowe so narrowly missed out on a medal by just 10 points.!
Was a great night.
Many thanks to Hertford Company of Archers for a great shoot and very kind hospitality.

Below are Chris Lowe and Raven-Corey Knight both at full draw.

HAVERING SHOW – MUCH FUN.

Well we managed to get through 2 whole days without rain, during the back holiday weekend, which just added to the fun and enjoyable times for all.
We were all kept very busy with a never ending line of people of all ages, ready to “have a go” at archery.
Even Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club’s official mascot DIGGER came to see us and try his paw at shooting.
He was very good! Almost like it wasnt his first time ;)
Havering Met Police were VERY good too! as for the Army?… guns are their choice and they are sticking to it. haha
We also had a lot of people wanting to join our Newbie courses in March.
